Press Releases

One of the key advantages of VitroFlow.Bio is full integration: no additional incubators, external pumps, or separate data acquisition systems required. Everything needed for organ-on-a-chip workflows is integrated into one device. ✨

With our latest whitepaper, we wanted to show how such a fully integrated OoC workflow works in practice. Using VitroFlow.Bio, we established a dynamic colorectal-cancer-on-a-chip model under continuous perfusion and compared it to conventional 2D culture. We also initially tested 5-FU on both, the CCoC and the 2D cell culture. 🧫💊

The result:

→ more tissue-like morphology
→ significantly increased cell circularity
→ improved physiological relevance compared to static culture

We summarized the full proof-of-concept and results in our latest whitepaper (See under Shop > Documentation & Downloads).
