Our Mission

Reimagining research for a more ethical tomorrow.

Our mission is to enable more ethical, accurate, and human-relevant science by replacing outdated models with cutting-edge organ-on-a-chip technology. We believe that the next generation of medical breakthroughs shouldn’t rely on animal testing or oversimplified cell cultures. Instead, we provide tools that bring research closer to the real complexity of the human body.

Through our integrated VitroFlow platform, we empower scientists, biotech teams, and pharmaceutical innovators to generate reproducible, automated, and physiologically meaningful data — accelerating discovery while reducing risk and resource waste.

We exist to support those who dare to challenge convention in the life sciences.

Because better models mean better outcomes — for patients, for science, and for society.

Our Story

Key moments on the road to human-centered research.

VitrofluidiX began with a bold question: “What if we could recreate human biology in the lab — without relying on animals?”

Since then, we’ve transformed that question into a mission-driven startup, a functional product, and a growing network of scientific collaborators. Here’s a look at our key milestones, achievements, and the people behind the progress.

The Spark

While designing a custom microfluidic chip, the idea for VitrofluidiX was born. During the search for a device that could reliably supply the chip, it became clear: such a system didn’t exist. This gap marked the starting point for developing our all-in-one solution for accessible Organ-on-a-Chip experiments.

First Working Prototype

The first functional version of the VitroFlow.Bio system (V0.1) is built. At the same time, the core team forms around a shared vision: to make organ-on-a-chip technology more accessible, adaptive, and integrated.

From Lab to Market

A first fully functional MVP is developed and tested with first pilot users (V1.0). VitrofluidiX is officially founded and begins its transition from research-driven development to professional operations and product readiness.

Preparations for Launch

The first financing round is successfully closed. Based on user feedback, the team builds now VitroFlow.Bio V2.2 – the market-ready version. A European patent is filed to protect the core technology.
